As part of our team you will...
- Interpret purchase orders and contracts to ensure compliance
- Manage procurement, including sourcing, ordering, and issue resolution
- Coordinate logistics, including transportation and customs
- Validate supplier invoices and resolve discrepancies
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance
- Build and maintain supplier relationships; onboard new vendors
- Negotiate purchase orders and supplier agreements
- Develop sourcing strategies and alternative supply options
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement improvements
- Assess risks and implement mitigation plans
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate material activities across projects and programs
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align on supply and priorities
- Optimize MRP parameters to balance material availability and inventory levels
You're a good fit if you....
- Completed a technical or commercial training (e.g., bachelor's degree in business, Supply chain, Logistics, or relevant field, an asset
- Have a minimum of 3 years of working aerospace experience in buying logistics or supply chain function
- Have good knowledge of MS Office as well as of an ERP system (proAlpha an asset)
- Demonstrate resilience, good problem solving and conflict solving abilities as well as good negotiation skills
- Are organized and quality oriented
- Have a flexible and independent way of working
- Are Bilingual - French/English
