For our CIO/COO business area based in Madrid, we are currently seeking to hire, with immediate effect, an

IT Application Manager in Payments area (m/f/d)

• Responsibility for the operation, maintenance and support of the payment systems
• Providing IT support to the business departments in the payments applications
• Responsible for keeping the applications up to date with software updates, security patches etc. 
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, as well as providing support for internal and external audits
• Collaboration in payments projects and actively supporting the payments business colleagues in process optimization through automation
• Communication with service providers and software manufacturers as well as monitoring and managing respective outsourcing partners
  

   

• Vocational training or a degree in business administration or IT or equivalent qualifications
• Experience of 3 - 5 years with payments applications such as SEPA, SWIFT or Target2
• Basic knowledge of server administration and databases (e.g. Oracle, MS-SQL) as well as SQL
• Basic knowledge of operating systems such as Windows Server or Linux
• Proficiency in all MS Office applications
• Very good written and spoken Spanish and English; German knowledge would be an added advantage
