Head Regional Sales (m/f/d)

To further strengthen our Commercial & Sales organization, we are looking for an Head Regional Sales (m/f/d).

In this role, you will drive Faller Packaging's market expansion by focusing on two strategic priorities:
1. The acquisition of net-new business
2. The strategic nurturing ("gardening") of midsize, independent and regional B & C clients.

Together with your team, you will shape the regional sales organization while serving as a role model for compliance and business ethics. 

Your tasks

  • Strategic Account Development:
    Develop newly acquired midsize customers by driving adoption, upselling opportunities and sustainable revenue and profit growth.
  • New Business & Mid-Market Acquisition:
    Manage the entire sales cycle for high-potential midsize B2B prospects, from initial outbound targeting through to successfully closing the deal.
  • Strategy Execution:
    Drive the execution of Faller's sales strategy, including territory management, customer engagement, pricing initiatives and the further development of service offerings.
  • Forecasting & Reporting:
    Manage sales forcecasts, revenue projections and budgets for B & C customers, actively contributing to Faller's S/OP process and acting as the central interface between Customer Service and Operations to ensure efficient processes.
  • Sales Pipeline Optimization:
    Optimize the sales pipeline by participating in business development, streamlining the sales funnel, managing Request for Proposal (RfP) processes and leading negotiations of framework agreements with midsize and regional customers.
  • Team Leadership & Performance:
    Lead and develop the Sales organization, driving performance, collaboration and compliance. Support the transformation of the sales approach and establish scalable structures.

Your profile

  • Several years of experience in B2B sales, with leadership or team management
  • Industry, market and customer knowledge preferred, ideally combined with a understanding of the Faller Packaging product portfolio
  • Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to analyze sales performance, identify growth opportunities and implement improvement measures
  • Strong customer focus combined with excellent negotiation skills, assertiveness and organizational talent
  • Experience in change management and proficiency in using CRM, ERP and BI systems / sales reporting tools
  • Very good written and spoken German and English
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required. (approx. 30%)
