As Head of MSAT, you will be responsible for the global Manufacturing Science & Technology function, ensuring the successful execution of technology transfer activities while maintaining the highest standards of technical excellence, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will act as a key technical authority, collaborate with international stakeholders, and play a critical role in supporting our continued growth and operational success.

You take overall responsibility for our global MSAT activities, driving operational excellence and ensuring alignment across projects, sites, and stakeholders. 

Inspiring and Developing Teams
You provide both disciplinary and functional leadership to the MSAT organization, fostering a collaborative environment where people can grow, perform, and succeed. 

Driving Successful Technology Transfers
You ensure the robust technical execution of all technology transfer projects, guiding activities from initial planning through implementation and commercial readiness. 

Ensuring Technical Compliance
You conduct on-site technical compliance assessments and ensure that all activities meet internal standards as well as applicable international regulatory requirements. 

Overseeing Critical Technical Documentation
You review, approve, and authorize technical documentation related to product and process transfers, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance. 

Acting as a Senior Technical Expert
You serve as a trusted advisor for pharmaceutical and technological questions, supporting both medicinal and non-medicinal product portfolios with your expertise.

Owning the Technical RFQ Process
You are accountable for the technical components of Request for Quotations (RFQs), providing expert assessments and supporting sound business decisions.

Managing External Service Providers
You act as the primary technical contact for external service providers involved in technology transfer activities, ensuring high-quality collaboration and delivery.

What sets you apart:

Academic Background and Industry Experience
You hold a Master's degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline. You bring more than 10 years of professional experience within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in MSAT, manufacturing, technology transfer, process development, or related technical functions. 

Proven Leadership Expertise
You have successfully led teams for more than 10 years and possess a strong ability to motivate, develop, and empower employees across different levels of an organization.

Strong Regulatory Knowledge
You have a thorough understanding of global pharmaceutical regulations, GMP requirements, and industry best practices, allowing you to ensure full compliance in a complex environment. 

Excellent Communication Skills
You excel at building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and are confident influencing and collaborating across functions, sites, and cultures.

Strategic and Analytical Mindset
You are skilled at evaluating complex business and technical challenges, assessing alternative solutions, and identifying the most effective path forward.

Strong Decision-Making Capabilities and International Perspective
You take ownership, make informed decisions in dynamic situations, and successfully balance strategic priorities with operational needs. You enjoy working in a global environment and are comfortable collaborating with international teams and stakeholders.
