Head of Global Financial Shared Service Center (d/m/w)
Please note that this position is based in Prag and follows our hybrid working model. Relocation support is not offered.
The following adventures await you at Schleich:
- Disciplinary and functional leadership of the Global Shared Service Center
- Responsibility for the monthly and annual financial statements of the individual legal entities
- Monthly reporting to management
- Central point of contact for the local subsidiaries
- Ensuring proper accounting practices and compliance with VAT regulations
- Continuous optimization and further development of processes and workflows
- Interface role to the entities supported by the Shared Service Center
- Interface role to internal stakeholders (CFO, Controlling, HR, IT, Executive Management)
- Main contact for external auditors and tax advisors
Your story so far:
- You have successfully completed a degree with a focus on Finance / Accounting or hold a comparable qualification
- You bring several years of leadership experience in an international environment, ideally in a comparable role within the consumer goods industry or a Shared Service Center
- You demonstrate strong team and leadership skills with a clear focus on continuous improvement
- Ideally, you have experience in setting up and further developing Shared Service Centers and are motivated to support our transformation towards a globally operating Shared Service Center
- You have gained experience in digitalization and automation within finance, particularly in ERP systems
- You have solid knowledge of IFRS accounting
- Very good knowledge and confident use of common ERP systems set you apart
- You have business-fluent German and English skills
