Global OPEX Manager (m/f/d)
What You will Do
- Lead and execute global Operational Excellence initiatives with a strong emphasis on TPM methodologies
- Support manufacturing sites in developing and implementing standardized best practices
- Conduct OPEX assessments, workshops, coaching sessions, and training across all hierarchy levels--from shopfloor to executive leadership
- Act as a change ambassador, ensuring long-term adoption of OPEX methodologies and cultural transformation
- Analyze production performance, identify improvement levers, and ensure measurable results
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a global environment
- Manage and coordinate international projects with up to 40% travel to global sites in CZ, RO, CN, MX, US
What We're Looking For
- University degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent technical background - Alternatively: completed technical vocational training with further qualification
- Several years of experience in Operational Excellence, Lean/TPM consulting, or continuous improvement roles within manufacturing operations
- Proven experience in the automotive industry (OEM, Tier 1 or Tier 2 preferred)
- Experience in the implementation and training of common lean tools such as 5s, kanban, milk run, leveling etc. is a prerequisite
- Strong background in TPM tools, loss analysis, autonomous and professional maintenance, predictive maintenance and performance improvement
- Certification as a Six Sigma black belt is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with all organizational levels
- Solid experience in Change Management, including leading cross functional teams through transformation processe
- Excellent analytical skills combined with a hands on mentality
- Fluent in English and German
