Data Governance Analyst (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- End-to-End Data Lineage: Document and enhance transparent "Source-to-Report" data flows using central governance tools
- Process Optimization: Identify and resolve structural gaps, inconsistencies, and manual steps within complex data chains
- Technical Data Management: Develop SQL queries and support the modeling of relational and logical data structures
- Cross-Functional Interface: Act as the key liaison between Risk, Finance, and IT to translate business requirements into data standards
- Regulatory Compliance & Quality: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards (e.g., BCBS 239) and resolve data quality issues along the lineage
How to convince us
- Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Information Technology, Data Management, Mathematics, Finance, Economics or a related quantitative field
- 2-5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management or Reporting within a regulated financial institution
- Solid understanding of banking regulations, specifically BCBS 239 (RDARR), and general data management standards like DAMA
- Proven experience in data flow modeling and analysis, ideally within governance or regulatory frameworks
- Fluent in English, German language skills are a plus
- Strong structured thinking and high precision in translating complex business requirements into technical data architectures
- Clear stakeholder management skills combined with a genuine passion for data governance and regulatory frameworks
