Our operation in Italy, located in the area of Milan, has an opening position for a Business Development Manager - Railway industry.
Job Description.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
- Business Development Management - direct customer contacts and in collaboration with Managing Director (MD), International Business Development (BD) colleagues, and international colleagues to define key account targets, manage projects, and execute strategies while participating within the Center of Competence.
- Management of defined Account applications within Railway industry and working closely across the global organization to manage complex projects and execute business development strategies in Italy.
- Focus on penetrating major tier 1 and tier 2 manufacturers in Railway industry.
- High focus on development of new accounts, new opportunities and introduction of new products.
- Willing and able to travel to key accounts to develop trusted business relationships on a regular basis (e.g. >50%) including occasional international travel outside of Italy.
- Assist with special sales, marketing, or related projects as directed by the EAO Management Team.
Job Requirements.
- All necessary computer and related office equipment.
- A valid EU driver's license.
- A valid Italian or EU passport.
Education and/or Experience.
- Commercial / business degree and/or a technical qualification.
- +5 years working experience with Railway market - OEMs.
- Microsoft 365 Applications and SharePoint collaboration.
- Salesforce.com or other CRM software.
- Oracle Enterprise Management software or comparable software.
Key competencies.
- Proven OEM sales achievements within Railway marketplace.
- Understanding of a User Experience and Industrial Design value proposition.
- Strong sales management skills.
- Self-motivated and attitude to work under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving attitude.
