Automation / Software Engineer - Aviation Testing

We are hiring an Automation / Software Engineer for our location in Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Translate customer requirements to software solutions/concepts from concepts to planning and realization to testing, consider customer to requirements
- Development of software solutions and software programs for test systems
-> Focus on systems special layer (C#,...)
-> Implement communication protocols between components, equipment & test units
-> Realize test sequences in our standard software
-> PLC solutions - Commission, test, and troubleshoot software on aerospace test equipment
- Ensure data integrity, change management and compliance with customer requirements
- Cooperate with customer support team for handling customer support/service needs
Qualifications
- University degree in Aerospace Systems Engineering, Electrical-/Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering
- Minimum 3 years on job experience
- Minimum 2 years experience with mechatronics / automation solutions
- Strong software / system design skills C++ and C#
- Experience in PLC development
- Experience with Data Management / Database (f.e. MS SQL,...)
- Ideal good understanding of electrics, pneumatics hydraulics and mechanical systems - automation technology
- Outstanding analytical skills & interest to be on the product and managing code in interaction with real equipment and process
- Motivated, self-directed and comfortable to work on real equipment
