Senior Project Manager Food Industry (m/f/d)

Your tasks include:
- Developing and implementing product and innovation projects from initial idea to successful market launch
- Identifying and evaluating market, food and consumer trends and deriving new product and concept ideas
- Further developing and managing a structured innovation process, including evaluation, piloting and implementation
- Developing economically viable innovation concepts, taking into account customer benefit, operational feasibility and margin targets
- Coordinating pilot projects and cross-site roll-outs, with continuous optimisation based on data and feedback
- Working closely with Marketing, Purchasing and Supply Chain to ensure scalable and successfully implementable innovations
- Developing business cases and monitoring the performance of new products and initiatives
- Fostering a culture of innovation through workshops, idea exchange and cross-functional collaboration
What you bring:
- A degree in Food Technology, Nutrition Science or a comparable qualification
- At least 7 years of professional experience in project management, product development or innovation management within the food industry
- Ideally, experience in a B2B environment, e.g. with ingredient, spice or food manufacturers
- Proven experience in delivering projects from initial idea to market launch
- Experience in designing and managing innovation and product development processes
- Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to translate market and consumer trends into concrete, actionable concepts
- Commercial understanding of margins, supply chain and operational requirements in the food sector
- A structured, delivery-focused personality with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for food
- Willingness to travel within the group, including project-based stays of 1-2 weeks at our sites in Austria and the UK
- Excellent German and English skills
