Your Job:

  • You are the internal expert on relevant commodity markets and the underlying principles
  • You provide ad-hoc analyses (i.e. using PowerBI) and design data-driven queries for various stakeholders (e.g. senior management, Controlling, Risk Management)
  • Your responsibilities also include requirement engineering for internal and external stakeholders: gathering and challenging stakeholder requirements with your own proposals at a tactical level
  • You will build specific data structures in the data warehouse for reporting in coordination with data engineers and business departments
  • Together with your team, you will establish an internal knowledge network and document all relevant data processes
  • You will continuously develop relevant reports in close collaboration with our stakeholders at LichtBlick and EET
  • You will use a data analytics tool (e.g. PowerBI) and apply advanced information design principles to create advanced dashboards
  • Your responsibilities include promoting information design within the company and advising other departments

Your Skills:

  • You have successfully completed a degree in Business Administration, Energy Sciences, or a comparable qualification
  • You stand out through solid experience in dealing with business and energy industry topics
  • You are able to grasp complex information conceptually and think strategically, enabling you to communicate content clearly
  • You bring broad knowledge of the complexity of data analysis
  • You demonstrate a high level of initiative and a quick grasp of new topics, along with strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • You have a strong affinity for software and database structures
  • Initial experience with Python and Power BI would be a plus
  • Experience with annual or monthly financial statements as well as audit processes carried out by external auditors would also be an advantage
  • You are a strong communicator, flexible, well-organized, and have a heart for sustainability - then you're exactly who we're looking for!
