Job description
We are looking for an AI/ML Engineer (f/m/d) to design, build, and scale AI and machine learning solutions that create measurable business impact and further optimize our core processes.
The role focuses on applied AI systems, including image and video generation, RAG, workflow automation, agent orchestration, and AI evaluation. It also covers predictive ML use cases such as pricing, demand forecasting, logistics, and process optimization.
Where your expertise is needed
- Design and build AI-driven business solutions, including image and video generation, RAG systems, workflow automation, and agent-based solutions
- Develop predictive ML solutions for business-critical use cases such as pricing, demand forecasting, logistics, and process optimization
- Develop evaluation and monitoring approaches for AI and ML systems to ensure quality, reliability, and measurable business impact
- Translate business needs into practical AI/ML use cases, success metrics, and production-ready solutions
- Bring AI and ML solutions into scalable cloud production environments
- Collaborate closely with data teams, engineering teams, and business stakeholders
What will help you master future challenges
- Experience with RAG systems, agent orchestration, AI workflow automation, and evaluation of AI outputs
- Strong skills in Python and SQL
- Solid background in machine learning methods such as regression, classification, forecasting, and model validation
- Prior experience with Databricks and Google Cloud Platform is a plus, ideally together with Apache Spark or PySpark
- Ability to translate business problems into practical AI/ML solutions with measurable impact
- Strong communication skills; English (C1 or higher) required, German is an advantage
