For our research center in Innsbruck we are searching for a
Virtual Screening & Data Scientist (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
- Development of ligand and structure based virtual screening models (pharmacophore modeling, docking)
- Development and implementation of machine learning models
- Predictions of compound activities
- Implementation of automation pipelines
- Management of project activities
Skills:
- PhD. degree in the field of virtual screening, computer aided drug design, functional pharmacology, in silico pharmacology, molecular modeling, computational drug discovery
- Msc. in pharmacy is a plus
- Knowledge in pharmacology
- Knowledge in python programming
- Knowledge in data science and machine learning
- Experience with Docker, Git, DevOps is a plus
- Experience in data bases is a plus
- Background in phytochemistry is a plus
- Work experience is a plus
- Excellent English or German & communication skills
- High self-motivation, reliability, resilience and interest in scientific challenges

This is a full time (40h per week) position with permament contract. An extensive home office model with flexible working times is offered.
