Logistics Specialist
(m/f/d)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Development and elaboration of logistical concepts, e.g. for material supply, transport or packaging solutions as well as their integration under lean management principles into the logistics processes in the Trofa plant.
• Monitorization and analysis of logistics processes in order to increase efficiency, reduce waste and improve delivery performance.
• Coordination and implementation of logistics projects in close cooperation with central functions such as Supply Chain Management.
• Creation of cost calculations and economic feasibility studies for logistics projects and investments.
• Contact person for relevant specialist departments such as supply chain management, production, and quality management for logistical issues.
• Development and implementation of logistics-related training programs for employees to help them understand and follow the logistics processes.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Commercial or technical studies with a focus on logistics or engineering;
• Experience in automotive logistics especially with focus on transport management (preferentially);
• Very good MS-Office skills;
• SQL and database knowledge are appreciated;
• Fluent written and spoken English.
