UX/Technical Writer

We are currently seeking a highly organized individual proficient in content creation, technical writing, and UX writing to join our team at Matrix42. Our company specializes in providing customers with a diverse range of IT service management products, each of which typically necessitates a certain amount of time for setup and integration with the customer's business infrastructure. Whether it involves onboarding customers to our Digital Workplace platform, providing user education on utilizing our workflow designer tools, or assisting with inquiries through our knowledge base, you will undertake a broad spectrum of documentation and technical/UX writing responsibilities. Collaboration with project managers, designers, and engineering personnel will be essential to ensure a seamless product experience for our customers.

YOUR MISSION

• Authoring, production and updating of content for the Matrix42 applications, in particular creation of learning modules (text and video) that are used in the learning management system and help desk areas.
• Editing of training manuals in cooperation with - and on the basis of the concepts created by our trainers and specialist authors.
• Provision of content in our platform products and systems
• Project management, in particular version tracking as well as planning of translations and localizations.
• Management of external content providers and marketplaces
• Development of a production framework, establishment of a media asset library and evaluation of the processes within the Matrix42 University
• Proactive collaboration in documentation and knowledge management with our software development and support team
• Regularly update the team / Line management on the state of content management and documentation across the Matrix42 suite of products.
• Suggest opportunities and strategies which will both improve and scale our documentation quality and standards.

MUST HAVES

• Successfully completed studies with a focus on business informatics, business education, technical documentation or e-learning, or training e.g. as a technical writer or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in e-learning and/or technical documentation
• Experienced, high stylistic confidence, accuracy and an eye for graphic and design details
• First project management experience, ideally in project management in the field of e-learning
• In-depth knowledge of authoring tools
• Further training in the fields of media design, multimedia and web design is an advantage.
• Strong process orientation, planning strength and adherence to deadlines.
• Willingness to acquire in-depth knowledge of Matrix42 products and solutions.
• Hands-on mentality and open-mindedness
• Very good written and spoken English skills.
