About us:

The Landesamtsdirektion-Informationstechnologie (LAD1-IT) serves as the comprehensive IT and TK service provider for the departments of the Amt der NÖ Landesregierung and the NÖ Bezirkshauptmannschaften of the state of Lower Austria. Our services are utilized by 7,500 individuals on a daily basis.

The scope of responsibilities includes planning and procurement of IT components, software development, and planning and operation of the entire server, client, and network systems for the 180 locations of our organization. To ensure a crisis-proof IT operation, continuous employee training is essential to provide the necessary competencies and personnel capacity to manage the tasks at hand.

Your role in our team:

We are seeking for a security expert to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for improving our central CI/CD pipeline template in an Azure DevOps Server environment.

Our primary goal is to implement supply chain hardening using the SLSA framework (https://slsa.dev), with a step-by-step implementation in our template up to SLSA Level 2+. Additionally, you will collaborate with the dev teams and assist with troubleshooting to ensure seamless execution of projects.

Our expectations:

To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong understanding of the .NET environment, including Framework, Core, NuGet, and NPM. Experience with CI/CD is also required, and knowledge of Azure DevOps YAML is a significant plus. The ability to work independently and in coordination with the Software Engineering Tech Lead is essential.

Department of Software Development:

For the past 20 years, our team has been developing .NET web applications in the government sector with the goal of providing optimal software support for employees of the state administration. Our team comprises of 20 software developers, divided into three agile teams, working collaboratively both on-site and remotely to deliver innovative solutions.

From the technical aspect we place a strong emphasis on efficient development practices and utilizing cutting-edge technologies. Our current portfolio includes about 30 .NET Core and 100 Framework applications, which are constantly evolving and maintained in a highly automated CI/CD environment.

 

We offer:

Remuneration based on the Lower Austrian State Civil Servants Act, LGBl. 2100. The salary is approximately EUR 1400 gross per month based on full-time employment.
