As a Software/Data Engineer* ....
- ...you develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and software for both cloud and edge/hardware devices using architectural patterns like asynchronous processing, multiprocessing and multithreading.
- ...you define and implement data streaming architectures and API communication.
- ...you improve production code in terms of runtime, memory usage, and parallelization.
- ...you automate build, test, and deploy processes.
- ...you collaborate closely with software, embedded, and firmware teams.
- ...data cleaning, manipulation, analysis, preparation, and management are your passion.
- ...implementing a data lifecycle management according to requirements is easy for you.
- ...writing unit and integration tests are best practices for you.
- ...you attach great importance to ensuring data quality and compliance, including data quality monitoring and GDPR compliance.
- ...clarifying technical requirements and carrying out necessary documentation are a must for you.
About You:
- Since completing your education (HTL, TGM, university, etc.) in the field of software (Bio-Informatics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT Management, etc.), you have at least 2 years of professional experience.
- You have programming skills in Python, good data modeling and UML skills, and ideally experience with git, Linux, Docker, CI/CD, Ansible, GStreamer, and MQTT Protocol.
- You can impress us by obtaining an AWS certification within six months of starting.
- Your strong communication skills in English, and preferably also in German, make you a fantastic team player with an independent way of working.
- You are fascinated by artificial intelligence and neural networks.
