Service Technician Electric Drives - North America (m/f/d)

For our North American headquarters near Chicago, we are seeking a self-sufficient, detailed oriented, motivated Service Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Analyze, repair and test electric outboard motors and battery systems
Manage inventory of spare parts including picking and shipping
If needed support service team by providing technical assistance to our Customers via phone, electronically or on-site if required
Support on developing service documents such as service manuals, maintenance documents etc.

Requirements:

Enjoy a fast-paced work environment
Organized, able to multi-task, work both independently, and be a team player.
Detail oriented with the ability to write reports, records, and correspondence
Able to lift, push or pull 50 pounds or more
Safety conscious
Knowledge of Cable Management, experience with Low Voltage, or Electrical Training is a plus
Be able to pass a background check including: drug screening, criminal background check
Preferably experience and/or interest in marine industry
Windows OS proficiency
