Senior Systems Engineer m/f/d

Your strength:

• At least 7 years of professional experience in the infrastructure sector
• Degree in business informatics / computer science or comparable training (e.g. as an IT specialist for system integration)
• Experience with or knowledge of Windows Server and Desktop Microsoft operating systems
• Microsoft certifications such as MCSA, MCSE
• Knowledge of storage (Netapp, Pure Storage) and physical servers (Fujitsu, Dell, HP)
• Expertise in the administration and maintenance of Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint
• Strong VMware skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in both German and English

Your contribution:

• You administer, support and maintain our global infrastructure including active directory, hardware and virtual servers
• You install and maintain hardware and software systems
• You are an escalation point for other IT team colleagues
• You monitor data protection including performing and restoring backups
• You participate in the procurement and management of hardware and software
• You create and maintain technical documentation
• You cooperate with and support external service providers
• You administer security software and hardware
• You are responsible for the ongoing monitoring, capacity planning and support of the existing infrastructure
• You propose, design and implement enhancements within the current infrastructure
