Responsibilities:
- Modernize, extend and maintain finance-related applications
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify and refine requirements
- Integrate software components into the existing build pipeline
- Continuously improve code quality through reviews and testing
- Actively reduce technical debt
- Contribute to an agile mindset and embody the values of commitment, courage, respect, focus and openness
Qualification:
- Strong software engineering skills, including analysis, design, development and testing
- Practical experience with Java and Linux
- Experience with design standards and architectural patterns
- Knowledge of container technologies, for example Kubernetes and Docker, and frameworks such as Spring Boot
- Solid understanding of relational databases, preferably Oracle
- Experience with API management and web services, for example XML-based services
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, ideally within the Atlassian tool ecosystem
- Interest in financial or billing system domains
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Basic cloud knowledge in AWS or Azure is an advantage
