Your tasks
- Prepare and coordinate monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB)
- Perform operational accounting tasks, including handling special topics and conducting internal controls
- Support tax-related matters, corporate investment management, accruals, provisions, and fixed assets
- Assist in coordinating tax audits and preparing tax returns
- Serve as the primary contact for ERP-related matters within the accounting department
- Lead initiatives aimed at standardizing accounting processes and identifying opportunities for optimization and increased efficiency
- Participate in specific accounting projects, including ERP system upgrades and implementations
- Conduct training sessions for team members on ERP system functionalities and updates
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the ERP system
Your profile
- Completed book-keeping training with a financial accountant's examination. Bachelor's degree in a comparable area is a plus
- 5-7 years of practical experience in accounting, preferably within a corporate group or at a tax advisory/auditing firm
- Proficient in various software programs; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is advantageous
- Demonstrates a precise and detail-oriented approach to work, with a strong affinity for numbers
- Exhibits excellent teamwork capabilities, resilience, and flexibility
- Fluent in both spoken and written German and English
