We are seeking a seasoned professional to strengthen our Austrian Accounting and Tax team, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and excellence in financial operations, while also serving as the ERP Key User to optimize our financial systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of finance and technology within a dynamic and international environment. By combining your accounting expertise with your interest in digital tools, you will play a key role in driving innovation and standardization across our financial processes.

Your tasks

Financial Accounting:
  • Prepare and coordinate monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB)
  • Perform operational accounting tasks, including handling special topics and conducting internal controls
  • Support tax-related matters, corporate investment management, accruals, provisions, and fixed assets
  • Assist in coordinating tax audits and preparing tax returns
ERP Key User Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary contact for ERP-related matters within the accounting department
  • Lead initiatives aimed at standardizing accounting processes and identifying opportunities for optimization and increased efficiency
  • Participate in specific accounting projects, including ERP system upgrades and implementations
  • Conduct training sessions for team members on ERP system functionalities and updates
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the ERP system

Your profile

  • Completed book-keeping training with a financial accountant's examination. Bachelor's degree in a comparable area is a plus
  • 5-7 years of practical experience in accounting, preferably within a corporate group or at a tax advisory/auditing firm
  • Proficient in various software programs; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is advantageous
  • Demonstrates a precise and detail-oriented approach to work, with a strong affinity for numbers
  • Exhibits excellent teamwork capabilities, resilience, and flexibility
  • Fluent in both spoken and written German and English
