We are currently supporting our sister company Deep Sea Electronics Ltd. based in Hunmanby, UK, in their search for an Area Sales Manager (m/f/d) for the APAC region. The position is to be filled remotely.
 
DSE has been developing and supplying industry leading engine and generator control solutions, vehicle and off-highway control solutions, automatic transfer switch control solutions and commercial battery chargers since 1975. DSE is based in the beautiful village of Hunmanby in North Yorkshire, UK, and employs over 200 people in its state of the art facilities. All products are manufactured on site in the company's 15,000 square metre manufacturing environment, which is equipped with automated rapid surface mount assembly equipment, automated test equipment and a workforce dedicated to producing the highest quality products.

MOTORTECH GmbH has been one of the leading international developers and manufacturers of ignition systems, gas/air mixture control systems, engine management systems and other accessories in the field of stationary gas engines for over 30 years. This is where your knowledge is needed

  • Responsible for sales growth and market expansion for the APAC territory
  • Development of a sales and regional distribution structure
  • Coordinate all marketing activities with distribution partners
  • Develop and execute plans to increase market share in the APAC region
  • Expanding the customer base and developing business with direct and indirect customers
  • Visiting customers and potential customers to develop relationships, build trust in the C&A Group and grow profitable business
  • Be the voice of the customer within the Control & Automation (C&A) Group and the face of the C&A Group to the customer
  • Promote existing and new C&A products to customers
  • Liaise with internal functions as required to ensure the best service to customers
  • Keep up to date with developments in the competition
  • Conduct market research within the customer base to keep abreast of changing market conditions

What you bring

  • Proven relationships with key decision makers in the energy sector in several Asian countries
  • Commercial focus
  • Proven sales and negotiation skills
  • Experience in a sales role in a technically orientated company/product area, preferably in the control/energy management industry
