As a Product Owner, you will be the bridge between business objectives, user needs, and technical execution, ensuring our products meet market demands.

Your tasks

  • Understand and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and long-term strategy.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback sessions to identify opportunities.
  • Align product goals with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Own, refine, and prioritize the product backlog based on value, feasibility, and business impact.
  • Write clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams.
  • Continuously assess and adjust priorities based on changing business needs and feedback.
  • Work closely with business leaders, developers and designers to ensure alignment.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives with Agile teams.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide transparent updates on progress and challenges.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative team environment by ensuring clarity of goals and celebrating wins.
  • Act as a bridge between stakeholders and the team, shielding developers from abrupt changes or distractions while keeping them informed.
  • Ensure the team understands the "why" behind requirements through clear storytelling, demos, and open discussions.
  • Promote transparency and trust by addressing blockers, acknowledging challenges, and advocating for sustainable work practices.
  • Encourage continuous feedback (both giving and receiving) to improve teamwork and product outcomes.
  • Ensure timely delivery of product increments that meet quality standards.
  • Validate features against acceptance criteria and user requirements.
  • Monitor product performance post-launch and iterate based on data and feedback.
  • Advocate for the end-user by deeply understanding customer pain points and needs.
  • Analyze product metrics, user behavior, and feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Your profile

  • Proven experience in defining product vision, roadmaps, and backlog prioritization.
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, or other Agile frameworks.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira and Confluence (Preferred)
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and technical constraints  such as APIs, databases, etc. (Preferred)
  • Ability to collaborate with executives, developers, designers, and customers.
  • User-Centric Mindset, with a passion for understanding customer needs and translating them into product features.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills and able to articulate ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, make trade-offs, and find creative solutions.
  • Leadership skills that inspires teams without formal authority and thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Comfortable with change and able to pivot strategies based on feedback.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and manages stakeholder expectations effectively.
  • Certification in Scrum Product Owner (Nice to have)
  • Domain expertise in the gaming industry (Nice to have)
