Procurement Manager (m/f/div)

Job Share: Part-time (78 % / 30 hours per week)
Location: FLOCERT GmbH Headquarter Bonn, Germany

Your responsibilities

Join our team as a Procurement Manager and take the lead in establishing our purchasing structure. This part-time position (78 %) offers a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to single-handedly shape and enhance our procurement functions.

Your role will involve building and supporting purchasing activities, strategically and operationally, tailored to the needs of our service-oriented company. Apply now to be a key player in shaping our procurement success.


Your responsibilities

  • Contributing to the development of process standards in purchasing
  • Implementation of commodity group strategies, ensuring their implementation and continuous optimisation
  • Identification of potential for digitalisation in operational and strategic procurement as well as support for the implementation of suitable e-solutions
  • Monitoring of market landscape as well as customer / supplier relationships to identify savings and optimisation potentials
  • Conducting enquiries, tenders and negotiations; negotiating, concluding, managing and monitoring contracts
  • Development of framework agreements; formulation of internal guidelines for dealing with suppliers and contracts; monitoring of contract fulfilment
  • Selection of suppliers along the principle of the best possible exploitation of economic potentials while complying with the required operational specifications
  • Monitoring and control of all procurement tsks in close coordination with and communication to the functional side
  • Execution of tactical enquiries from specification to tendering and negotiation to placing as well as contract and / or order in close coordination with and communication to the functional side concerned



Your qualifications, experience and skills

  • University education (B.A. or equivalent) or vocational education in the fields of Business, Economics etc.
  • Multiple years of professional work experience in operational and strategic procurement
  • Fluency in English and German, both verbal and written; additional language skills in Spanish would be an advantage
  • Very strong negotiation skills, communication and assertiveness skills
  • Goal and success orientation, confident appearance
  • Enjoy cross-functional and cross-departmental cooperation
  • Knowledge of IT process or project / service management methodologies such as e.g., ITIL, Prince2 or equivalent
  • Great team player with positive, pro-active attitude and hands-on mentality
  • Work experience in an international environment is an advantage
  • Dedicated working style with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Ability to multitasking focused on detail and delivery
  • Very good command of MS Office
  • Knowledge of the Fairtrade trade standards would be an asset
