We are now looking for a Picture Quality Engineer / Picture Quality Expert to strengthen our team in Garching near Munich and improve the picture quality of our LED TV and Laser TV products further.

New Product Development

Collaborate with R&D teams and independently conduct PQ tuning, validation, and acceptance tests during the development phase of new TVs, ensuring alignment with European market requirements.

Define picture quality requirements for the European market

Regular update of picture quality specification based on user demand research, competitive benchmarking, and market insights.

Market Reviews & Certification

Communicate with European testing and certification agencies, collaborate with local product managers from different EU markets to formulate review plans, track the review progress, analyze published reports, and improve the product based on identified issues.

Benchmarking

Analysis of competitors’ PQ performance to identify strengths and weaknesses, propose improvements and collaborate with HQ R&D team to improve our products.

Local Market Support

Collect and analyze PQ-related feedback from the European market, provide solutions to technical issues, and share insights from field research.

Marketing & Events Support

Provide technical support for local exhibitions and major marketing events, ensuring the best PQ representation of our products.

Regulatory Intelligence and Compliance

Track and interpret European industry standards, regulations, and legal requirements relevant to visual products.

Provide internal guidance to ensure full compliance during development and market entry.

·       Bachelor or higher degree in engineering, science, or related fields

·       More than 2 years of work experience in PQ engineering or video processing

·       Knowledge of display technologies, PQ-related functions and features

·       Ideally experience with independent PQ tuning and subjective picture evaluation

·       Strong communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to solve issues

·       Very good communication and coordination skills

·       Very good knowledge of English, knowledge of German preferred
