Your responsibilities:
- The job holder is the primary IT contact for key business stakeholders of Vorwerk SE, Vorwerk Services, Vorwerk Engineering and further smaller german Vorwerk entities, with a focus on workplace and infrastructure related topics.
- The local IT Manager establishes close relationships with all relevant stakeholders to gain specific insights to be documented and kept up to date to provide a holistic view of the current IT situation in the different entities.
- The local IT Manager represents the local IT objectives towards the different Domains and IT Products in the Deliver IT organization, especially towards the products in the Shared IT Products domain, ensuring that these objectives are considered in the planning of global projects or initiatives.
- The job owner ensures that local IT projects are adhering to group standards, are staffed appropriately and receive the required support by the Deliver IT organization where applicable.
- The job owner works closely with the business to provide transparency on planned projects and exchanges information continuously.
- Together with the Deliver IT Organization and especially with the IT Product Teams the job holder brings transparency on provided IT services and identifies gaps to improve continuously their quality and perception by the business.
- The job owner functionally leads a team of IT Service Managers and Local User Support Experts.
You offer us:
- Successfully completed master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or other equivalent disciplines.
- At least 7 years of experience as IT Manager being responsible for complex IT services or projects in multi-national environments for customers or internal clients.
- At least 3 years experiences in a matrix organization leadership position and (remote) management of international teams with different solid reporting lines.
- Very good lateral management skills.
- Extensive experience in managing internal and external (virtual) teams.
- Extensive experience in the management of international stakeholders balancing between local objectives and global cost-efficient delivery.
- Proven knowledge of service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT) - ideally ITIL Practitioner certified, ITIL Service Operation and Service Transition certified.
- Broad understanding of Information Technologies, like cloud sourcing, infrastructure services, network, and workplace as well as application development frameworks (Agile, DevOps).
- Fluent German and English language skills.
- Willingness to travel (up to 20%) and to show regular onsite presence on all relevant locations.
