Your Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance: You and your teammate will be responsible for the cross-device quality assurance (mobile, app, web) of our customer-facing webpage for life insurances - through manual and automated testing
- Agile teamwork: You work closely with the development team and product management to establish QA standards and derive test cases (via Jira)
- Taking responsibility: You develop and improve end-to-end automated testing code (from planning through specification to execution)
- Improving products: You assist in building and expanding automated mobile app testing
- Measuring and ensuring quality: You take care of the development of the test environment for our web-based applications and services
Your Qualifications
- Education: Completed education in the IT or technical field or a degree in computer science
- Practical experience: You have initial experience (through internships or student activities, but no more than 2 years in a full-time position) in the quality assurance of web/software projects
- TechStack knowledge: You have experience in JavaScript and are familiar with test automation for web applications on desktop and mobile platforms (e.g. CodeceptJS, Selenium, Webdriver, Appium, etc.)
- Digital mindset: Passion and interest in web development and testing, you are highly engaged to continue learning
- Love for details & complex topics: You have a high level of awareness, enjoy troubleshooting and even with repeated test procedures you notice small deviations immediately. You think things through from start to finish.
- Communication skills: You have a goal-oriented and independent way of working but like to work in a team
- Language skills: You have very good spoken and written knowledge of English (C1), German is a plus
