Java Backend Developer (m/w/d)

As a Java Backend Developer, you’ll help build innovative tools, microservices, and API integrations that power insurance products across multiple platforms. If you're excited about creating smart, scalable solutions with real impact, we’d love to hear from you!

•    Development of microservices within the product domain and configuration options in the FIPS (Faktor-IPS)
•    Further development of existing product models
•    Consulting agile teams on the integration of the product model
•    Creation of automated test cases with focus on reliability and compatibility
•    Feature refinements with business analysts

•    Proficient in Java programming language with several years of experience in software development
•    Ideally with an understanding of a product model or FIPS
•    Knowledge needed for the tasks (to be acquired if not yet available): Faktor-IPS, Eclipse, Maven and GIT
•    Beneficial/desired knowledge: Java Persistence API (JPA), DevOps, CI/CD, Eclipse plugin development, Spring Boot, RESTful services, Vaadin / Angular, Insurance industry knowledge
•    English on a business level
