Your tasks

During your intern as Junior Technical Documentation Engineer, you will assist in creating and maintaining clear and concise technical documentation for products, systems, and processes. This includes user manuals, installation guides, technical specifications, and internal documentation for engineering teams. The Junior Technical Documentation Engineer will work closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with company standards. The role also involves managing document workflows and ensuring consistency across all technical documentation. 

 

  •  Assist in the creation, editing, and updating of technical documentation and design standards in the sector of low, middle and high voltage cables, including manuals, user guides, and specifications.
  • Work with engineers to gather technical information and ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Ensure consistency in formatting and content across all technical documents.
  • Maintain and organize a central repository for all technical documentation from tender to project phase.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create effective documentation and concepts for transport, installation, mounting, secondary systems, etc.
  • Development of basic principles for the preparation of drawings (e.g. single-line diagrams).
  • Ensure documentation meets legal, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Assist in managing translation and localization of documents for international markets. 

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Communication, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and software as CAD, Mathlab, FMME.
  • Basic understanding of technical writing principles and documentation tools.
