YOUR ROLE:
The person in this position will help us in constant support and monitoring of the existing IT infrastructure. We are looking to enhance our capabilities related to Classic and Cloud Infrastructure by building 24/7 Global Infrastructure Reliability Team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Monitoring and log analysis with classic infrastructure (VMware based) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and network (Fortinet, Cisco)
- Troubleshooting infrastructure issues, service incidents, performance, and availability issues
- Close cooperation with 3rd party service providers, Infrastructure Engineers, SOC and Service Desk
- Operation and management of monitoring tool platforms (CheckMK)
- Patch and vulnerability management including maintenance windows planning
- Troubleshooting complex issues (P1/P2) in cooperation with business owners, senior engineers and external support
- Detailed reporting and RCA documentation
- Ensuring the security and compliance of the virtual environments
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- 1+ years' experience working as a Infrastructure Engineer or NOC Engineer or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of alerting and monitoring tools
- Hands on experience with Windows Server and Linux
- Experience with network, security and ticketing platforms
- Understanding ITIL framework and service management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in writing technical documentation (especially incident reports) and working in a global team
- Strong communication skills - internal customer focus
- Fluency in English
