THIS IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

As a Full Stack Developer for Sales Management (Store Back Office), you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining the tools and applications that empower our store teams. You will collaborate closely with product owner, software architect, designer, and other developers to translate business needs into robust and user-friendly software solutions that optimize store operations and management processes.
To further strengthen our BC Customer Management department, we're seeking candidates like you in Braunschweig for the position of Full Stack Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Design, implement and maintain store back office software solutions, ensuring its functionality, stability, and security.
  • Develop new features and technologies to optimize store operations and increase management efficiency
  • Ensure code quality by applying best practices in software engineering
  • Collaborate with other teams, such as the Shop floor team (Point of Sale), to ensure smooth integration and operation of solutions.
  • Integrate data from various sources to provide meaningful reports and dashboards for management.
  • Collaborate with the testing team to ensure software quality through joint efforts.
  • Actively participate in scrum activities, including sprint planning, stand-up meetings, Review and retrospectives.
  • Continuous improvement of development methods and technologies to continuously increase the efficiency and quality of work.

THIS IS WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU

  • Degree in computer science, business informatics, or a similar field, with several years of professional software development experience, ideally in point of sale or retail environments.
  • Proficiency in C# (.NET), ASP.net, and modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular, with a strong understanding of development best practices including Git and version control.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher, and database management (SQLite and MS SQL).
  • Skilled in designing and implementing APIs with versioning best practices (including OpenAPI) and handling big data (archiving, administration, and interrogation).
  • Knowledge of agile development methods, particularly Scrum, and excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Fluency in English is required; German language skills are a plus.
