Key Responsibilities

  • KERN´s Face-to-the-customer (commercial end customer and dealers)
  • Establishing and maintaining customer relationships
  • Receiving enquiries (from dealers or end users)
  • Forwarding all requests from US customers to the respective KERN employee in Balingen
  • Offer tracking
  • Communication to the customer in the respective language, culture and time zone
  • Visits:
    - Customers (mainly dealers and sometimes end customers)
    - Exhibitions
    - Conferences e.g. of Scales associations ?(and organization of membership in these ?associations
  • Support with Software and IT connection projects

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • You are a freelancer and live and work inside the US territory
  • Language skills: fluent English
  • Commercial skills
  • Professional experience in the B2B sector, ideally in the field of weighing and measurement technology
  • Regular travel to commercial customers in the entire US territory as well as to KERN in Germany

Preferred:

  • Basic it/network knowledge
  • Technical skills

The thorough and comprehensive induction (approx. 3 months) takes place at the headquarters in Balingen, Germany
