The Filtration Engineer Process Filtration executes the filtration and application laboratory activities to support our customers, technology and sales organizations as well as the product offering group. He/she carries out filtration and application trials in laboratory scale and knows the utilized filter equipment and filtration technologies in detail. He/she maintains and increases knowledge on vacuum, pressure and gas filtration processes in relation to solid-liquid separation, the interaction with filter media characteristics and the impact on the achieved filtration results. He/she supports the organization with filtration and separation.
Your Tasks
- Perform filtration tests, filter media analyses, compatibility and resistance tests
- Carry out basic research on filtration methodology related to different filter media and suspensions and their filtration behavior
- Selects optimal material(s) to meet customer filtration needs and optimize the filtration result in close collaboration with market and technology responsible
- Ensure to build-up and document detailed filtration and separation knowledge related to filter media, filter equipment and corresponding applications
- Support preparation of customized reports, analyses, white papers or technical bulletins as requested or as appropriate
- Prepare statistical and analytical summaries, draw conclusions and formulate recommendations in close cooperation with the technical and market responsible
- Subject specific goals and projects and their management in an agile approach
