As an Embedded Linux Test Engineer*, ...
- ... it is easy for you to design test strategies for the embedded Linux device software.
- ... you also have fun with designing and setting up CI pipelines for test automation.
- ... the design, implementation and documentation of test cases for C++/Qt6 applications, including graphical user interfaces is not only your profession but your vocation.
- ... you independently and safely setup and maintain test software- and hardware- infrastructures for testing an embedded Linux device.
About You:
- Since successfully completing your technical education (university of applied sciences, technical university, ...) in computer science or similar you have at least 3-5 years professional experience with embedded Linux systems.
- Besides, you can easily prove experience in with software test frameworks (e.g. catch2, GoogleTest, pytest, cpptest...) also for embedded Linux devices (e.g. tbot, Labgrid, LAVA) and CI/CD.
- Your experience with C++ (or C) development can also be shown.
- Bash/Python scripting is in your blood.
- In addition, you ideally have experience with embedded Linux distributions (e.g. Yocto, Buildroot,...) and testing against security requirements (vulnerability scans, ...).
- If you want to impress us additionally you bring experience with testing and tracing acc. to functional safety standards (e.g. IEC 62304, ISO 61508).
- GUI testing and experience with frameworks (e.g. Squish, selenium,...) as well as the ability to understand electronics schematics are a plus.
- You also show high motivation in your independent way of working in a team.
- Initiative, commitment, and structure are not just buzzwords for you, they simply belong to you.
- With your business fluent English, you complete your profile.
