POSITION DESCRIPTION:

When pushing the boundaries of the Laser Powder Bed Fusion process, Data Preparation is one of the keys to success. Together with our team of highly skilled experts from around the globe you will:

• Investigate the Laser Powder Bed Fusion process to lay the foundation for the development of next generation Scan Strategies
• Use and develop state of the art tools for data preparation
• Plan, conduct and analyze experiments using our latest machine generation
• Work together with our customers to figure out tailor made solutions

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor´s or Master´s Degree in software engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or a comparable subject
• 3+ years of professional experience in Laser Powder Bed Fusion or similar processes with a focus on data preparation for additive manufacturing
• Good understanding of the physics that govern the Laser Powder Bed Fusion process
• Familiar with programming (Phyton, Java)
• Flexible and independent style of working within a global organization
• Well structured style of working and the ability to conquer complex problems
• Good communication skills
