With a strong presence across Europe and beyond, we are expanding our footprint in Sweden. As part of a succession plan, we are seeking a dedicated leader to strengthen our team in Sweden and further expand our market presence.

 

Your Role
As Country Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the local sales strategy, building strong customer relationships, and driving revenue growth. You will act as the key representative of Theben AG in Sweden, ensuring alignment with our international sales objectives and brand values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Swedish team of highly dedicated employees.
  • Held comprehensive profit and loss accountability for our subsidiary.
  • Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy for Sweden, including channel structures and customer segmentation.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, projects, and partnerships.
  • Manage and grow relationships with distributors, system integrators, and key accounts.
  • Strengthening the project business channel for our solutions, especially in building automation and detector segments.
  • Proactively engage with stakeholders in large-scale construction and renovation projects to position Theben AG as the preferred partner for advanced automation and detection systems.
  • Represent Theben AG at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
  • Collaborate with headquarters on forecasting, reporting, and strategic planning.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments.
  • Ensure alignment with KPIs, reporting structures, and international sales processes.

Your profile

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or market management in Sweden, ideally in building automation, electrical engineering, or related industries.
  • Completed degree in Business Administration or an equivalent qualification
  • Experience in leading a remotely operating sales team
  • Proven record of developing and successfully implementing business strategies, especially in dynamic and challenging markets.
  • Strong network within the Swedish construction, electrical, or smart building sectors.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English.
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach.
  • Willingness to travel within Sweden and occasionally to headquarters in Germany.
