We are looking for an experienced and visionary Country Director (m/f/d) to lead our subsidiary in Poland. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth, expanding our market presence, and ensuring smooth operational performance in close alignment with our headquarter. You will act as the registered managing director for WEH Polska.

The position is not tied to a fixed office location - your place of work will be aligned with market activities and operational needs within Poland.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop sales strategies
    • Develop and execute sales strategies with a focus on market trends and customer requirements 
    • Analyze the market with focus on finding and acquiring new business potential and identify growth opportunities
    • Short- and long-term sales plan definition 
  • Lead small team
    • Strategic and operational lead of the team (1 office, 1 sales/service)
    • Set performance targets and monitor results 
  • Drive customer acquisition and retention
    • Further development of key accounts and establishing of new key accounts 
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships 
    • Take full ownership of sales targets and ensure consistent performance 
    • Identify and approach new business opportunities 
  • Market
    • Attendance of trade shows and gather market intelligence
    • Establish and monitor a sales network in the market to successfully win customers
  • Negotiation
    • Negotiation-savvy 
    • Ensure competitive and profitable pricing structure
  • P&L
    • Take ownership of sales budget, forecast and revenue targets
    • Provide regular reports and performance analyses to the HQ management 
  • Accounting & Controlling
    • Interface to external accounting service providers
    • Audit of costs and invoices
    • Create a simple reporting system and KPI´s
  • Collaborate cross-functionally
    • Collaborate closely with product management and marketing as well as the HQ team to deliver tailored solutions
    • Develop with the international sales team a global strategy to ensure the overall success
    • Actively contribute to the overall business strategy from a sales perspective 
  • Rule communication
    • Report regularly to HQ and exchange information on processes
  • Travel activities
    • Travelling is required to serve customers and markets
    • Communication in polish and english

Your Profile

  • You hold a university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
  • You have several years of experience in a leadership role, focused on sales.
  • Fluent English and Polish skills, both written and spoken, are part of your professional toolkit.
  • You are confident and skilled in negotiations.
  • You think strategically and lead with confidence and clarity
  • You bring a collaborative mindset and enjoy working in a team.
  • You bring a strong technical affinity and are open to engaging with technical topics.
  • You are experienced and comfortable working with sales platforms like HubSpot, CRM, and ERP solutions.
  • You are willing to travel nationally and internationally.
  • You are familiar with the Polish market and local business practices.
