About the role: As our new Commercial Excellence Manager - Sales & Pricing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving our sales and pricing excellence agenda globally. Building on a recently completed strategic project, you will manage, optimize, and continuously improve our customer segmentation framework, sales operating model, pricing logic, and sales performance steering. Working closely with local sales teams and leadership across our legal entities, you will translate strategy into execution, ensuring structured performance monitoring, value-driven pricing, and commercial excellence across all markets. You will directly report to the Chief Sales Officer and into the central Project Management Office to ensure alignment with our broader transformation initiatives.

Ihre Aufgaben

  • Operate and continuously improve the existing customer segmentation model
  • Translate segmentation logic into concrete sales actions (e.g., service levels, visit frequencies, offer types)
  • Analyze customer-level profitability (P&Ls) and develop segment-specific service and pricing strategies
  • Drive the implementation and refinement of pricing standards and tools to improve competitiveness and profitability
  • Develop and enhance Sales Controlling capabilities across markets - including KPI frameworks, dashboards, and reporting processes
  • Regularly monitor and review sales and pricing performance of country organizations, derive insights, and define corrective actions
  • Act as a trusted sparring partner for local commercial teams - providing guidance, challenge, and enablement
  • Coordinate with local legal entities and central functions (e.g., Finance, Procurement, Customer Service)
  • Prepare and facilitate review meetings, workshops, and trainings with country and regional stakeholders
  • Ensure full alignment with the ongoing organizational transformation and report into the central Project Manager Office 
  • Contribute to the strategic roadmap for Sales and Commercial Excellence within Solar Trade

Ihr Profil

  • 4+ years of experience in Commercial Excellence, Sales Operations, or Pricing Management in an international B2B environment - ideally complemented by strategy consulting experience
  • Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Renewable Energy or related field
  • Strong background in sales process optimization, pricing execution, KPI-based performance management, and customer segmentation
  • Hands-on experience in monitoring sales performance, using KPIs to drive actions, and working with commercial tools (Excel, BI, CRM, or pricing systems)
  • Proven ability to drive change and collaborate across matrix organizations with cross-functional and international teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills - from Sales Reps to Managing Directors
  • Solid understanding of pricing strategies, discounting logic, and commercial governance
  • Structured working style, strong analytical mindset, and business-driven thinking
  • Experience in the solar, renewable energy, or technical wholesale sector is a strong plus
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
