• Perform detailed structural analysis and calculations for foundations, retaining walls, slabs, digesters, gas holders, tank bases, and supporting structures.
• Prepare and review civil and structural design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation using relevant software and design codes.
• Evaluate geotechnical data and integrate soil bearing capacity, settlement, and groundwater conditions into structural design.
• Ensure compliance with European structural design standards (e.g., Eurocode and/or Italian codes).
• Design reinforced concrete, steel, and composite structures for process units, buildings, and site infrastructure.
• Collaborate with mechanical, process, and electrical teams to integrate civil/structural components with equipment and plant layouts.
• Prepare and verify load calculations, wind and seismic assessments where required.
• Supervise and inspect on-site civil works during construction to ensure structural integrity, workmanship, and adherence to approved drawings.
• Coordinate the executive design with external consultants or structural engineers where necessary to validate complex designs.
• Review and validate all executive engineering documentation received from third-party companies, including structural drawings, calculations, specifications, and design reports, to ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and interface coordination. This includes assessing the adequacy, accuracy, and constructability of all structural elements proposed by external consultants, vendors, or subcontractors.
• Support permitting processes and ensure as-built documentation matches executed structural works.
• Inspect and validate on-site civil and structural works to ensure they are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards. This includes verifying correct implementation of structural elements and resolving any discrepancies between design and actual site conditions.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred). 
• Relevant years of experience in civil/structural engineering, including 2+ years on industrial or energy-related infrastructure (e.g., biogas, wastewater, or process plants).
• Proficient in structural design softwares
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.
• Experience in concrete and steel design, including rebar detailing and structural integrity checks.
• Familiarity with geotechnical interpretation and integration into structural design.
• Solid understanding of construction methods and sequencing related to energy or process facilities.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a goal-oriented manner
