The German-Irish Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Ireland) is the central platform for bilateral business relations between Germany and Ireland. With our strong network, a wide range of services, and close connections to politics, business, and institutions, we actively shape economic cooperation between the two countries.

To further professionalize our internal structures and sustainably support the management in an ongoing change process, we are creating a new full-time position effective 1 January 2026

Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Deputy CEO

In this newly established key role, you will act as the central operational steering authority of AHK Ireland. You will bridge the gap between strategic leadership and operational execution and play a decisive role in ensuring the Chamber's future viability and innovative strength.

• Standardize and optimize internal processes to increase efficiency and transparency

• Introduce unified service offerings and pricing structures

• Drive the structured integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into existing workflows

• Harmonize cross-departmental processes and manage internal interfaces

• Collaborate closely with the CEO on the strategic development of AHK Ireland's network

• Represent the Chamber as Deputy CEO in relevant internal and external contexts

• University degree, ideally Master in Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Several years of leadership experience, preferably in an international or non-profit environment
• Proven expertise in process management and change management
• Strong affinity for digitalization and innovative technologies, particularly AI
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Intercultural competence, professional presence, and team orientation
• Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken)
