About the role:

As our Brand Manager (m/w/x) you will play a central role in managing and executing key marketing deliverables across branding, social media, and communications. This position produces top quality branded materials, oversees content creation, and supports cross-functional collaboration to maintain brand consistency and engagement. The role also includes brand strategy implementation and guardianship, ensuring pitch-perfect and meticulous communications - perfect for a detail-orientated person.

Objectives & Responsibilities

Objectives:

  • Create a consistent red thread across all marketing touchpoints--ensuring that every branded material, POS tool, and digital asset reflects our brand story and values.
  • Bring the brand to life by delivering high-quality branded materials and POS tools.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints by implementing updates to CI and existing branding.
  • Drive content excellence through the coordination of video assets and digital materials that engage and inspire.
  • Strengthen social media presence by ensuring smooth operations, timely posting, and event coverage.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team and beyond to ensure alignment across campaigns, creative assets, and brand messaging

 

Responsibilities:

  • Brand Strategy Implementation & Guardianship: Ensuring the brand strategy is effectively executed across all touchpoints and maintaining the integrity of brand assets.
  • Branded Materials: Production of new branded assets: packaging, large POS items, and for events. Be responsible for our product range: Afro Coffee, Afro Tea, Cocoa, Afro Spices. This will include managing packaging changes and materials that help us grow our B2C. Take a central role when we launch new products, working closely with our operations team to create the right materials, planning the launch with our sales, eCommerce and advertising team.
  • CI & Branded Material / Existing Branding: Collaborating with Brand Specialist for required updates.
  • Video & Digital Assets: Manage video content for advertising campaigns, product showcases, and website integration
  • Social Media: Define ongoing social media strategy and content creation. Work with Social Media Support to schedule and publish posts, manage event coverage, and community engagement.
  • Event Support: Ensure social media activation during events and assist with content creation.
  • Legal Compliance: Handle production forms and contracts in collaboration with the legal team for branded assets.

 

Skills & preferred Experience

  • Creative & Strategic Thinking: Strong sense of creativity, imagination, and innovation, with a proven track record in branding and video production.
  • Social Media & Trend Awareness: Social media savvy with hands-on experience in event coverage and a passion for staying on top of trends across major platforms.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills and fluency in both German and English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external agencies.
  • Project & Asset Management: Proactive coordinator with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and experience managing multiple projects and creative assets including POS tools and digital content.
  • Design & Brand Consistency: Solid understanding of CI guidelines and ability to work with creative teams to maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Content & Video Production: Familiarity with video editing workflows or briefing external agencies, plus experience in creating branded journeys for e-commerce consumers.
  • Legal & Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with handling contracts and production forms.
  • Professional Experience: 5+ years in marketing and brand roles.

(based on EUR 2.807,00 gross per month for full-time employment 38.5 hours/week for commercial employees).
