We are looking for an experienced BPM and Automation Consultant to design, implement, and optimize process automation solutions with a strong focus on BPM platforms. In this role, you will collaborate closely with both business and IT stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable, intelligent solutions. Your work will bridge traditional BPM approaches with modern agentic automation concepts, helping organizations advance their digital transformation.

As part of the adesso Business Automation Line of Business, you will join a collaborative, international, and multidisciplinary team. Together, you will work on forward-looking projects that seamlessly combine business consulting with orchestration frameworks, enabling smarter and more efficient ways of working.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, or a related field with a relevant focus
• Alternatively, a completed apprenticeship in the IT sector

Who You Are

• Possess an agile mindset with strong communication skills, customer orientation, and confidence in face-to-face interactions
• Able to write readable, testable, and maintainable code following the clean code principles
• Enjoy analytical tasks, including the analysis of processes and data
• Strong team player with excellent presentation and collaboration skills
• Fluency in English and C1 proficiency in either German, French, or Italian, depending on location

Professional Experience

• Junior: 1+ years of relevant experience
• Professional: 3+ years
• Senior: 5+ years

Professional Skillset

• Strong knowledge of modeling with BPMN 2.0, CMMN 1.1, DMN 1.3, and UML
• Practical experience with SQL and relational databases
• Hands-on experience working with Git for version control
• Solid understanding of JavaScript and its ecosystem
• Proficient in working with web services, particularly RESTful APIs, and confident handling of JSON/XML
• Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate processes and data
• Strong team player with excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills

Nice To Have

• Experience with Java, ideally in combination with Spring Boot
• Skills in frontend development, especially with React as a JavaScript framework
• Familiarity with AI Agents and related concepts
