Computational Infection Biology Department, led by Thomas Otto, is seeking a highly motivated
Bioinformatician for data integration (m/f/d)

Our group develops computational tools to study host-pathogen interactions and their evolution, with the goal of uncovering new strategies for intervention. This position focuses on integrating single-cell RNA-Seq and spatial transcriptomics data (e.g., Xenium, CosMx) to better understand pathogen-host dynamics. You would also investigate AI-driven approaches to model cell-cell interactions and facilitate cross-species data integration.
Remuneration is paid in accordance with TV-AVH (collective agreement of the Hamburg Labour Law Association) in pay group EG 13. The position should
