Assistant Accounts Payable (all genders)
in Prague, Czech Republic

The following adventures await you at Schleich:

  • Support and assist with the monthly, quarterly and annual close
  • General support in day-to-day business including but not limited to:
  • Posting of customer remittances (E.g. Amazon)
  • Posting incoming customer payments by bank transfer, cheque and credit card
  • Credit collection
  • Sending statements of account, invoices, credit notes etc. to customers/sales
  • Reconciliation of accounts in agreement with the customer / vendor
    - Processing of customer deduction cases/claims
    - Liaising with customers, clients & sales team to acquire relevant documents &
      approvals
  • Creating, posting & netting customer credit notes for DCM cases
  • Validate incoming vendor invoices
  • Communicating with suppliers regarding invoices, payment status and requests as well as clarifying and processing queries and complaints
  • Processing reminders (remittances, portals & POD's)
  • Back-up for the AR / AP Team

Your story so far: 

  • Ability to analyze financial data & identify discrepancies
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Initiative, drive, attention to detail
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently and autonomously with strong written & verbal communication with both customers and internal departments
  • Problem solving ability for resolving payment queries, discrepancies & account reconciliations
  • Proficient in data entry with strong numerical skills
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, proficient knowledge of Outlook & MS Teams
