Your tasks
- Review and monitor the hotel operating performance against the market
- Review business, marketing and operating plans, as well as capital expenditure plans for their compliance with Aroundtown expectations
- Identify value-enhancing opportunities including efficient reallocation of space, rebranding and repositioning
- Develop, implement, and monitor value-add property improvement plans and CapEx projects and prepare ROI analysis
- Review and develop CAPEX measures
- Support and guide renovation projects for assets under repositioning or add-value projects
- Support a hotel Pre-opening phase by implementing an action plan
- Support Senior Development and Asset management team on asset management activities, hotel transactions and hotel re-development assessments
Your profile
- Completed degree in a Business, a related field or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in the hospitality industry and real estate industry
- Ability to judge hotel commercial and operational performance on industry KPIs
- Experience in executing capex plans for hotels including technical equipment replacement and improvement
- Proficient in essential IT tools (Excel and MS Office)
- Fluent in both German (minimum C1 level) and English
- Proactive and enthusiastic work approach
- Entrepreneurial thinking with a "hands-on mentality"
