To strengthen our global team, we are looking for an Architectural Consultant ideally in the area of Antwerpen/ Leuven to support the Benelux region.
What You'll Do?
You will advise and support external influencers such as architects, planners, color designers, metal constructors, and other key stakeholders with the objective of ensuring that our powder coatings are selected, specified, and used in architectural and industrial projects.
You will actively contribute to our international cross-border Architectural Consultant Team.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and technical consulting for architects, façade designers and public building contractors on the specification of powder coatings with a focus on added design value, functional performance and normative safety
- Provision of services for color designs, color and powder samples, specification texts, BIM and rendering data, warranty documents and active support of new services
- Translation of architectural visions and trends (e.g. low-carbon concepts) by suggesting adequate IGP coating solutions with verifiable sustainability performance and green building compatibility.
- Proactive development of project-specific color and surface concepts, taking into account life cycle costs, durability, maintenance intervals and value retention of real estate portfolios.
- Identify and develop new leads and relevant architectural contacts by also using digital platforms
- Establishment of long-term, trust-based partnerships with specifying decision-makers through technical and trend expertise
- Participate and support in relevant associations, technical conferences, and both internal and external training sessions.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on all activities, including project updates and customer interactions.
- Monitor and document market developments, competitive activities, and emerging trends.
What You Bring?
- Academic degree in a technical or construction-related field (e.g. Architecture, Engineering, Materials Science) or equivalent
- Work experience with Architects /planners or experience as an architect /planner, advising and specifying products for projects; ideally within the Benelux market
- Experience in consulting and surface or environmental technology is an advantage
Fluent in English and French, Dutch is an advantage - Excellent communication and presentation skill
- Confident with strong interpersonal skills and able to quickly build strong and credible relationships
- High willingness to travel (60-80%)
