Senior Investment Officer - AML/KYC Compliance Specialist (m/f/d)

 Key responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation of compliance relevant aspects within the Investment Management (IM) operations
  • Serve as IM team internal subject matter expert for ML/FT/KYC risk assessment, provide ongoing advisory to the team in relation to AML/CFT/KYC questions pertaining to investment activities
  • Provide active input to individual investment transactions
  • Accompany Enhanced Due Diligences (EDDs)
  • Continuously strengthen IM first line of defense function, ensure knowledge transfer and ongoing capacity building within the IM team
  • Proactively identify capacity building measures, define, and deliver relevant trainings
  • Proactively contribute to enhancement of procedures and tools for ML/FT risk-assessment and actively contribute to strengthening of the overall ML/FT risk management system in the company
  • Closely cooperate with the Compliance function

What we expect:

  • Degree in economics, business administration, finance, law, or related fields
  • Relevant professional experience in the field of AML/CTF advisory services
  • Solid understanding of AML/CFT regulations, especially in Luxembourg and in Germany (such as the German AML Act - GwG, Luxembourg Law of 12/11/2004), good understanding of the EU and global standards
  • Understanding of financial sector regulations and professional certificates considered an asset
  • Relevant professional experience in emerging markets, with dedicated experience in our current target regions, considered an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with additional language skills (especially those of our countries of operations), considered an asset
  • Strong analytical, writing and presentation skills enhanced by intercultural skills and sensitivities
  • Readiness to travel to our countries of operations (in regular business circumstances quarterly travels envisaged)
  • Goal-oriented, fully committed to delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines
