Software Developer – Navigation


EB is looking for a Software Developer to be a part of the navigation software team within its US Automotive SW Business Unit. This is a permanent position available at our office in Bothell, Washington.

EB is a fast growing global company with approximately 1,600 employees that provides leading edge technology solutions to the Automotive and Wireless industries. In the automotive space, EB is a leading global provider of software solutions to most of the largest OEMs. The EB product portfolio includes amongst others advanced navigation software (EB street director) as well as UI development tooling (EB Guide Studio).

This software development position is to strengthen the EB navigation software team in a software developer role. The focus will be on software projects in order to enable the shipment of the EB street director navigation in in-vehicle applications. We are looking for team members that have a passion for navigation applications and that thrive in a fast paced, technically complex, and project driven environment.

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • 2+ years experience developing Software Applications with C++
  • Demonstrated software development and technical skills
  • Strong object oriented programming and software design pattern skills
  • Ability to quickly analyze and debug a large and complex code base
  • Perform and participate in code reviews
  • Excellent software debugging skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills


Additional Skills (nice to have):
  • Experience in developing navigation software applications
  • Fluent in a second language both written and verbal
